The Writing Process
It seems the trailer has put people in a bit of a frenzy. Always nice.
In case you’re unaware (meaning that you didn’t pay attention to the credits), Episode Nine had a guest writer: our long-time friend and excellent webmaster, Jeff (unsquare for those of you on the forums). I typically write out the scripts for each episode, which can be a tiring process over the course of a season- so I was definitely excited when Jeff started showing an interest in writing an episode for us a few months ago. He’s one of the more talented writers I know, so that was certainly a bonus, too.
Anywho, Jeff has written an article about the process of writing the episode for us, and I must say it’s a good read, especially for those of you who are interested in how the show is put together. Read it: Jeff’s article about The Leet World.
On another note, please don’t start sending us scripts for episodes of The Leet World- we’re fine, thanks.
More updates: 1)Two more screenshots of Episode Ten can be viewed below. 2)The Halo short should be here in the next couple of days.

I did notice that you had a guest writer, and he’s pretty good!
I read his article, and just by seeing how hard he worked on the script, the more i think this show should be on the TV.
Keep up with the good work!

The guy with the Steve Martin avatar?
…God, the dude freaks me out when it comes to avatar decision.

Haha I’ve decided to take that as a compliment. Steve Martin is my hero.

No offense guys, but i’d rather see TLW than some halo shorts.
February 17th, 2008 at 12:14 pm » Quote
I think Halo shorts or anyother shorts for that matter are needed… having shorts in between some episodes will stop TLW of being to repetative/boring… it’s nice to have something new once in a while…
Plus, I think the guys will go insane if all they do is create TLW epidoes and nothing else…
P.S. 6 Diggs! -highfive-

What Griff said.
Something to keep in mind here is that we all have full-time jobs, careers, and I’m married. On top of that, we’re running this website and making videos. Making TLW day and night is already pretty tedious, and once again, we just do this for “fun”. If it stops being fun, then why do it? We’re always going to make what we want to make, because as Griff said, it keeps us sane, but more importantly (for you), it ensures that you’ll KEEP getting TLW instead of us just getting burnt out and scrapping the whole thing altogether.
And besides- we’ve never halted production of TLW for a short. Shorts are made concurrently with episodes. There are three of us, so while one person is editing/finishing Episode Ten, the other two work on the short. But even if that wasn’t the case- you’d just have to learn to live with it

i think shorts and TLW are both pretty funny and they should both keep even turns but i just cant wait to see who shoots who in episode 10 will it be ahmad shoots player or player turns around and pwns ahmad its a tension builder
i cant wait till it comes out the the tension is killing me O.o

Okay. I had to do this, I bought the game Audio Surf yesterday, and i had to race to the Leet World theme. Not only did i set a new high score (twice) but i made a video of getting an even higher score. This video is dedicated to both TLW Fans, and Gamers both. check this out!

Shorts are everything. I have an idea for another short, a CSS short…. assholeness. It’s been done millions of times before but you guys would do it the best. Team killing, blocking, nade spamming etc. I want a 2 minute short on that! That’ll be cool.
P.S. After Season 1, are next seasons (if you make) gonna be a different story, with different people or something? Guess it’ll still be the 4 and 4 T’s and CT’s though.

lol is that a challange? 2 things: i’ll pwn on it on Elite, and record it, and post it, second, it’s “pharoah” but seriously, when you see your score get owned, you will know by whom. (lol) wanna brag a little? post scores for the song here, Name|Match|Song|Score. if u really wanna earn some bragging rights, make a vid. Also, just to show my colors as a company owner, if you need some tips on makinga vid, let me know. Time to do some pwning amigos!

Dude, it’s an MP3. I promise you don’t need Quicktime, no matter what your computer may claim.
Also, since you two are having an off-topic discussion, why not move it to the forum or contact each other directly?

Lol, i allready made a video. and currently have high scores on all 3 lvls of game play. But yeah if you can’t find the download for the song (which is tlw_theme.mp3) i’ll send it to you.

No, whenever I go to the “download” part of the theme song, it crashes saying Quicktime is 1337. D:

Episode 9 was the best if not second best of leet world. Dust 2 Dust is awesome, and so is Episode 9 (VIAGRA VIAGRA VIAGRA).
The rest of the episodes, having some really funny parts, aren’t near the quality of these two. Sorry to be hating or raining on the parade, but that’s just my feeling (don’t take it too seriously).
